Traditional Aikido

Aikido is a Japanese martial art that

uses an opponent’s strength to neutralise conflict situations.

Traditional Aikido focuses mainly

on the art itself and it includes:

weapons training (knife, katana, staff),

ground techniques, and

multiple opponents techniques.

Tenshin Aikido

Tenshin Aikido is not an Aikido style,

it’s simply a branch of the Aikikai Aikido ancestry, with its own fully recognised methodology.

Tenshin Aikido focuses mainly on the application of fluid, powerful and effective techniques,

that can be applied to practical real life scenarios.

It‘s an intense form for intense situations,

rooted in the Japanese spirit of Bushido.

Attacks are fast and powerful,

technique is quick and fierce.

Modern Aikido

The modern martial arts path, takes

you on a journey of self discovery.

Modern Aikido focuses mainly

on the evolution of traditional

Aikido techniques.

It includes improvement aspects such as:

technique evolution, cross training and inclusion of with techniques

from other martial arts.
